"I told you to stop phasing in here, didn't I!?" "What are you doing in here!?" you yammered with a heated face, "T-T-T-T-" you swallowed, obviously flustered by the blonde's appearance, "Agh!" you jumped out of your seat like a frightened cat and tumbled backwards until your back abruptly bumped into your desk, causing a slight thud to echo in the room. However, instead of meeting the blankness of your ceiling, your eyes met with a pair of deep blue eyes that were matched with a familiar smile. You sighed in bliss and leaned back in your chair, finally opening your eyes after your personal little concert. Your lips curved into a huge smile as you sang the last words, feeling all the tiredness from your body drain away as the subtle instrumentals drifted into a calm silence. The song was almost done and you were belting out its last lyrics unhinged and free. Mirio just had to know who was behind this beautiful chorus, so he turned to his left and his smile instantly widened as his eyes met with the name plate above the room number.Īs if by instinct, he turned on his heel and walked up to the wall, phasing straight through and into the unsuspecting dorm. The voice was perfectly in tune and was honestly borderline angelic. He stopped dead in his tracks (literally mid stride) and just listened. It was then that his ear suddenly caught wind of something that sounded so sweet. A large smile decorated his face and his arms swung happily as he stomped his way down the hall of dorms to get to his own at the end of the hall. Having eaten a hearty ham and turkey sandwich with a protein bar for dessert, he was in a great mood. Meanwhile, Mirio was just coming from the dining room. At first, you were just gently humming, but as you got more into the song, your voice eventually lifted out of your throat and from there your singing only got louder. A tired smile wiped across your face as the beginning riffs gently entered your ears and your body relaxed. Your brows perked when you finally saw it and you impatiently tapped it. Your finger scrolled and scrolled, your mind set on a particular song your favorite. You dug your headphones out of your pocket and plugged them in. You brought your gaze back down to your desk and picked up your phone. What you needed was some good old-fashioned motivation. You partially blamed your unusual exhaustion on the advanced combat training that was hosted by Gunhead, you trying your hardest since that wasn't necessarily your level of expertise, but now you were definitely regretting the after effects. You sighed and leaned back in your chair, pinching the slight headache that hinted at the bridge of your nose. It had only been about forty-five minutes since you started this session and you were already almost dead. You stared down at the jumbled mess of notes that sat atop your desk, your eyes heavy and strained from re-reading every little detail to make sure it stuck in your head. A/N: Whoo! First two-parter!! Also more Mirio!! I literally love him way too much.
